Security Fibers

Security fibers are for most security documents we use Chemical reactive/non-reactive papers and embedded security fibers and tagants for highest security levels.

Non-Replicable Design Feature

We have a Bank Note Security Design Software which can generate non-reproducible guilloche patterns, Linear advantage, intricately designed borders, split lines, latent image, microcline, Hide& Glow  anti-copy texts, anti-copy patterns such as EURion constellations and Omron anti-photocopying features.

Micro Printing

Micro Printing is the use of extremely small text and is most often used on currency and bank checks. The text is generally small enough to be undiscernible to the naked eye. Cheques, for example, use microprint as the signature line.

Anti-Copying Marks

Anty copying marks are introduced to prevent people without sophisticated training to easily copy currency using computer and photocopy technology.

Guilloche Patterns

Is an ornamental pattern formed of two or more curved bands that interlace to repeat a circular design. It works using a mathematical shape known as a hypotrochoid which is essentially the equation for the fixed point of circle rolling around inside a larger circle. The very same concept as a spirograph. Counterfeiting or copying this design is very difficult as creating the specific pattern is dependent on having the exact formula used.

Thermochromic Ink

Thermochromic inks are sensitive to temperature changes and will appear or disappear at different temperatures ranges. If you were to apply a finger and thumb to a 15 degree centigrade dark blue printed thermos spot the ink would disappear to nothing and as soon as you removed the heat source the ink would re-appear again. Inks come in various temperature sensitivities and common temperatures available are 15 degrees centigrade, 31 degrees centigrade and 45 degrees centigrade. An important consideration would be where the ink is to be located. In hotter climate you may well have to go for a higher temperature as the ink could be invisible from the ambient temperature itself. Some are available as per permanent change e.g. when it has reached a temperature the ink color does not

Optically Variable Ink

OVI’s contain minute flakes of metallic films. As the viewing angle is altered the color morphs from one to another. This needs to printed with a fairly heavy weight to get the best results. The most common color changes are brown and green (and vice versa) as well as red to purple. You will also notice that the ink feels almost embossed on the substrate which is due to the amount of ink required to get the required effect.

Invisible Ink

One of the most widely used inks is invisible ultra-violent and will be revealed when the print is placed under a black lamp (or UV light source). The ink is invisible to the eye (covert) under normal lighting conditions.

Coin reactive ink

Invisible ink which turns black when scratched with a coin. The image or message is revealed by rubbing the printed surface; the ink reacts to the metal in the coin and changes to dark grey. This provides for immediate verification of document authenticity without the use of special devices. Coin reactive ink cannot be scanned or copied and once rubbed the effect is irreversible.
